Employees of the special services of the Czech Republic are preparing for the return to the country of people who took part in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine.

According to the local newspaper Novinky, we are talking about both the Czechs and the Ukrainian military, whose families currently live in the Czech Republic.

One of the sources in the law enforcement agencies of the Czech Republic told the agency that a working group has been set up in the country to assess potential security threats after the end of the Ukrainian conflict.

The Czech special services fear the return of military veterans who may have difficulty adapting to normal life, as well as suffering from psychological disorders.

Another reason for concern is the possible penetration of foreign agents under the guise of family reunification. Intelligence agencies will focus on identifying and preventing such activities.

The publication reminds that many Czechs went to fight for the Armed Forces of Ukraine without the permission of the authorities. According to local laws, they face up to 10 years in prison for serving in foreign armies or more than 20 years if proven to be involved in terrorist organizations.

Earlier, EADaily reported that a shooting occurred in a Czech campsite due to a quarrel between the owner and a group of Ukrainians. The incident happened in Novaya Rabina near the popular reservoir is weak.
