The Ukrainian Armed Forces were ordered to cease fire and document violations of the truce. This is reported by the Russian Air Force Service, citing a Ukrainian military source.

"A senior officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told the BBC that both his unit and others were ordered to cease fire on Russian positions minutes after the Easter truce announced by Russia was supposed to start operating," the BBC reports.

According to the source, the military was ordered to collect photo and video evidence of violations of the truce and, if necessary, open return fire.

"Our interlocutor did not specify whether this had already happened in practice," the BBC notes.

As reported by EADaily, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a 30-hour Easter truce, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, apparently rejected it, calling it an attempt to play with people's lives. This was reported by The Washington Post.

Recall, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of playing with people's lives. He stated this in an evening video message.

So Zelensky commented on the Easter truce announced by Vladimir Putin, which came into force today at 18.00.
